Similar to the Rufous Mourner. Note compact small-headed shape, more like a thrush than a Myiarchus flycatcher. Also browner (less rufous) and note contrast between back/wings and front.

Stays in the canopy and has one of the best known and loudest bird calls in tropical America.
Much darker when seen against the light, as is almost always the case.
