Genus: Arremon (5 species, 21 worldwide)

Genus Arremon are Brushfinch found in the dense understory of tropical American forests. Arremon are consistent in shape and size (around 16 cm.).

Spottily distributed at mid altitude levels (1200m) in Panama and Colombia.

Widespread and common in Andean cloud forests from 1500m to 2500m. Often in pairs.
