Comes in two forms, one with a mostly yellow bill, and one with an ivory-colored bill with brown on the upper mandible (HBW). Found north of the Amazon river. The more southern Brown-mandibled Aracari has now been split out.

Aracaris are small red, yellow and black toucans. The Collared Aracari has the widest distribution of aracaris in Central America and north South America.
