Lovely Cotinga (Cotinga amabilis) Female Range: MA: se Mexico to Costa Rica Area de Proteccion de Flora y Fauna Naha, Chiapas, Mexico Note spots on female. Male bright blue with violet belly and throat. Both sexes similar to Turquoise Cotinga.

Both sexes similar to Lovely Cotinga (Costa Rica) or Blue Cotinga (Panama/Colombia), with different shades of blue and purple. Male bright blue with purple belly. Uncommon, small, and perches high making photos difficult.
