A giant albatross split from Wandering Albatross, and virtually identical. Breeds on Tristan Islands.

A giant albatross found in southern oceans. Until recently called Wandering Albatross, but the name was changed because two other very similar looking species, Tristan Albatross and Amsterdam Albatross were split from this species. All species are brown when young and get whiter as they get older.
