An Andean species found up to 2500m in Colombia. Very large, like the Rufous Motmot, but otherwise similar to Whooping Motmot.

A medium-sized motmot, and once called the Blue-crowned Motmot.

Range: MA, SA: c Panama, n Colombia, n Venezuela, w Ecuador and nw Peru
Minca, Magdalena, Colombia
  Smaller than the Andean and Rufous Motmots.

A medium-sized motmot, and once called the Blue-crowned Motmot. Similar to the Andean Motmot but found at lower altitudes. Also smaller and generally more rufous in front, and less green.
