Southern House Wren (Troglodytes musculus audax) Range: MA, SA: s Mexico to s Chile and s Argentina Mejía, Peru Common around farms, but also seen in many habitat types away from people.

In tropical America the House Wren is widespread and common, even inside cities. The Southern version, as opposed to Northern House Wren is found south from south Mexico.
