Found below 1500m. Small and timid; uniformly streaked yellow and olive from neck to belly. Found at lower altitudes than the similar Streak-necked Flycatcher. Note white mark behind eye. |
Compare with Ochre-bellied Flycatcher, but note McConnell's has plain wings (no wing bars). Immature from front with food stuck to feathers. |
