Compared to Taczanowski's Ground Tyrant, it is totally greyish (cinereous), and has a very thin light grey brow. Migrates to Peru in Austral winter. | ||||||
Austral migrant from Chile to Peru. A relatively large Ground Tyrant, and larger than Rufous-naped Ground Tyrant, and with a white forehead. | ||||||
A high Andean species tha breeds in Argentina, Chile, and southern Bolivia; in the Austral winter they move north into western Bolivia and southern Peru. (Athanas). | ||||||
Compared to Cinereous Ground Tyrant, it is larger, less greyish and has a stronger white brow. | ||||||
