Comes in two forms, one with a mostly yellow bill, and one with an ivory-colored bill with brown on the upper mandible (HBW). Found north of the Amazon river. The more southern Brown-mandibled Aracari has now been split out. |

This species has two forms, sometimes considered different species. Humboldt's Aracari, found in the Andean foothills from Colombia to Bolivia as well as the western Amazon basin, has an all black lower mandible. |
