Spottily distributed in the Andes. Closely related to Zeledon's Antbird which is found on the Pacific slope. The biggest visual difference is the shade of brown of the females. Only one of several of the vocalizations is different. Once called the Immaculate Antbird. |
Closely related to Blue-lored Antbird found in the Andes. Once both were called the Immaculate Antbird. Generally a lowland species, but can occur up to 1500m in the western Andes. |
