A relatively large flycatcher that is commonly heard. Striped chested distinctive among similar species.

Migrates from Central America to western Amazon. Smaller than similar [Streaked Flycatcher]. Note sulphur belly.

Widespread and common. Usually inside the forest or secondary forest. Compare to [Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher].
